We are Christine and Aimee, the mother-daughter duo behind Tìodhlac Studio, an independent Scottish business curating a thoughtful selection of sustainable, artisan-made gifts.

Tìodhlac Studio is based in Bishopton, Renfrewshire, and we prioritise working with Scottish, and UK based artisans and small businesses to bring you unique, high-quality gifts.

‘Tìodhlac’ (pronounced chia-luck) is the Scottish Gaelic word for ‘gift’—a reflection of our passion for meaningful, well-crafted presents.

We source our products from independent makers, small businesses, and ethical suppliers, where possible focusing on Scottish and UK businesses. We research in detail each brand's values, sustainability practices, and craftsmanship before adding them to our collection.

We are committed to sustainability, but we are equally committed to transparency. So while many of our offerings can be made eco-friendly, handmade, or ethically sourced, there's always room to get better with the rest. And where a product is not 100% sustainable yet, we will be very upfront and say so.

We sure do try our best! Recyclable, biodegradable, and minimum packaging is what we use. Reusing or upcycling shipping boxes saves further on wasting materials-so expect your order sometimes to arrive in a preloved box.

For our wax melts, we use glassine bags, recyclable and recycled clamshells, and biodegradable cellulose cellophane bags to keep packaging as eco-friendly as possible.

Yes. Our wax melts are hand-poured in Scotland using natural soy wax and carefully selected fragrance oils that meet strict UK safety and CLP standards. They contain no paraffin, phthalates, or animal-derived ingredients. When used as directed and in a well-ventilated space, they’re safe for home use and provide a clean, long-lasting fragrance.

Of course, most of our products are vegan, cruelty-free, including skincare and candles. Where applicable this is noted in the product description.

Yes, we deliver free to the Bishopton and surrounding Renfrewshire area.  This will be confirmed based on your postcode on your order.
