Finding Inspiration in Life and Gifting

Finding Inspiration in Life and Gifting

I’ve just come back from an amazing road trip through Inverness, Skye, Glencoe and Strathyre—a very special way to celebrate turning 40 with my family. Along the way, I was lucky to take in some truly breathtaking mountain landscapes and the stunning fairy pools in Skye. Being fully present in nature, surrounded by those wild, beautiful places, was grounding and reminded me how important it is to slow down and appreciate the world around us.

One of the highlights was completing the Via Ferrata in Glencoe with my daughter. It was tough but unforgettable, and those shared moments reminded me just how powerful connection is.

Another highlight was visiting the Skye Candle Company in Portree. It reminded me how much I love our Scottish scents like bluebell and heather, they capture the essence of this beautiful place so well.

The thoughtful gifts I received along the way, including some homemade videos from loved ones, really touched me. They showed me again why giving something meaningful matters more than anything else.

Now I feel reinvigorated and ready to dive into autumn here at Tìodhlac Studio. I’m excited to craft new wax melts with cosy, seasonal scents and help you find gifts that bring warmth and comfort to your loved ones. And yes, I’m looking forward to that first pumpkin spice latte of the season too.

As the Scottish heatwave comes to an end, it feels like the perfect time to pause, reflect and celebrate with gifts that truly matter.
